Having opened its doors earlier this year, it was finally time to celebrate the official opening of the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Amsterdam. It’s pretty fair to say, the hotel pulled out all the stops!
Over 500 guests descended on the hotel for the party, themed around the concept of Bedtime Stories. Hosted by Dutch soap star and all-round celebrity Katja Schuurman, guests were greeted by a dreamlike scene as they rolled up on the red carpet before heading up to the events floor which had been completely transformed into a series of experiential pop-ups that included the Mini Bar (mini in every sense), as well as the riskily named Dark Room and the Pink Boardroom.
It was really interesting to see how the hotel had taken such a large, corporate event space and turned it into something so unique and downright unrecognisable.
