We’ve been quite excited about this one for a while now, and who could blame us? The Leonardo Royal Hotel Amsterdam is the largest new hotel to open in the city this year; the Amstel Ballroom offers almost a thousand square metres of event space with floor to ceiling windows through 180 degrees and a ceiling that tops out at 6 metres.
What marks the Amstel Ballroom out as truly unique is its 300 square metre outdoor terrace, and as well, organisers of automotive events will be able to drive vehicles into the room. For organisers of healthcare events such as Investigator Meetings and Advisory Boards, the hotel has two appointed Healthcare Champions who understand the intricacies of healthcare compliance and what’s needed in order to cater for a successful event.
The 490 bedroom hotel is situated in the south west of the city. It’s extremely convenient for the airport and you’ll find Overamstel metro stop right outside the entrance to the hotel. For guests attending events at the RAI, it’s just two stops from the convention centre.
